  • Description:  Coypu also known as the Nutria or River Rat, is an semi-aquatic rodent. It can be underwater for about 10 minutes. They have thick brown and yellowish fur, a long tail, webbed toes and orange teeth. It is herbivorus, mainly eating roots, stems and aquatic vegetation. This species, Myocastor coypus, is nocturnal.. They can be very beneficial for their soft underlining fur, but also be very destructive to their environment. NOTE FROM WRP: Slightly loses clarity and definition when viewed at full resolution (mainly the feet) but approved for the overall effect/atmosphere and composition
