I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and my love of wildlife started at an early age. School holidays were often spent camping in Mana Pools National Park or on a houseboat on the wildlife-rich Lake Kariba. At age 18 I moved to Australia, the first time I had left Africa. After university I bought a DSLR and my love for photography was born. My passion for photography and wilderness has driven me to travel extensively. I have visited all seven continents with Alaska, Mongolia, and Patagonia amongst my favourite destinations. However, I realise that those childhood experiences in African bush were unmatched.
I have always had a keen interest in wildlife art but never pursued it until recently. I have explored several mediums, including charcoal, pastel and gouache. My favourite wildlife artist is the late Paul Bosman.
